You know it's the third and hardest week of your training block when ...

... you start to feel your legs falling apart

... all you feel like doing every single free time is sleep, sleep, and sleep

... your mind starts looking forward to the recovery week ahead

... food cravings happen

... you wanna spend time with other things in life than your bicycle

... you groan in pain even in your sleep cuz you're just so sore

... you feel like chopping off the lower part of your body and hanging them in your balcony for them to dry

... you feel like sleeping lots (oh did I mention that already?)

... your legs are constantly in pain and aching all over

... you zone out sometimes because you're just too tired

... you get more irritable

... you just want to sit or lie down somewhere and not keep standing!!

... sometimes you don't sleep well even though you're so tired and sore

... you want peace and quietness (tranquilo!) instead of constant yapping and talking

... you start to want and think of more ways how to spend time with pple close to you

So yes, I just completed my third block of training yesterday. Happy with my form now and how good I feel on the bike as compared to how I felt before the start of this training block. It's the first training block I've completed ever since feb when I injured my ankle and I'm really happy about it. It's quite amazing how good you can feel after just one training block. I'm obviously still not at my peak form yet and there's much training/racing to be done, but for now ... I'm just gonna enjoy my REST DAY and just REST AND ENJOY LIFE!!!
